I live on 'Billionaires' Row' in New York - this is what a $55,000 a month apartment looks like

Publish date: 2024-05-25

A real estate agent who creates content on TikTok has given online viewers a tour of a New York City apartment which he claims costs $1,833 a day to live there.

Anthony Park showed off an apartment that costs $55,000 a month to live in as a 'creative twist' to his regular home tour videos.

Regarding the price, he said: 'You might be thinking that's insane - but let me show you why.'

The apartment, that is located on the 58th floor of the building, has beautiful views of south side Manhattan and Central Park from the living room and bedroom.

His audience was also able to get a sneak peak into the kitchen and foyer before getting a more advanced tour of the living room, bathroom, and bedroom.

The real estate agent began the clip by grabbing a sparkling water from the fridge and explained a big reason as to why the apartment is so pricey - the views.

Park walked around the spacious living room he said was, 'probably way to big,' but the perfectly positioned furniture provides beautiful views of Central Park.

He admitted: 'I honestly never get tired of this - no matter how many times I see it.'

The TikToker then walked over to the bathroom, which he says is popular with guests, who tell him it's 'their favorite part of the apartment.'

The modern and granite bathroom includes a black, white, and gray color scheme, along with large rectangular windows and more views of Manhattan.

'A lot of people ask also about being seen while I'm in here,' said Park on what it would be like to live in the apartment.

He added that if it were him, he wouldn't really 'care that much' if people look at him.

One room Park wanted to show viewers was the bedroom that someone can wake up to 'every single morning.'

The huge room not only fits a bed and several pieces of furniture such as chairs and a bureau, but it also includes a gorgeous glimpse at Central Park.

Park noted that someone could just lay in bed all day while showing off the birds-eye view of New York through the windows.

He did not give his TikTokers a sneak peak of the closet, but if a viewer watches carefully before seeing the bathroom, they can see that it appears to be a walk-in closet.

Billionaires' Row contains ultra-luxury apartments along 57th Street - a major east-west street in Manhattan.

The available units cost millions of dollars to purchase, and billionaires such as Daniel Loeb and Jerry Yang own properties in the area.

Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have also lived there, and hedge fund owner Mitch Julis bought a 432 Park Avenue Home along Billionaires' Row for $92 million last August.

As of 2023, there are over 700 units available on Billionaires' Row in New York.

People who live in the luxary apartments do not have to be billionaires.

According to Property Club NYC, however: 'The units are so expensive that it would be difficult for anyone without that kind of net worth to afford to live there.'
