The actor-turned-DJ has spoken out to the Evening Standard in a candid interview about his 16-year marriage and turning his life around.

The star also speaks candidly about coming to terms with his family's fame and fortune.
Balthazar's great-grandfather was J. Paul Getty, founder of Getty Oil, and was at one time, one of the richest men in the world.
For a long time Balthazar admits he rebelled against the family name, but says now: 'I've gotten more comfortable with who I am. Where I come from, being "a Getty".
'I don't see it any more as something I have to run from, or prove to people that I'm not who they might perceive me to be. I've been able to own that and feel good about it.'
He adds that his family's history with addiction combined with the fame led to his own problems.

'It's no secret that my father and grandfather had major drug addiction problems, and addiction runs rampant in many families. If you add wealth and celebrity on top of that, it can be lethal,' he explains, admitting he took 'too many' drugs in his 'search for higher consciousness.'
Before his time as a DJ and producer, when he went by the name Solardrive, was in a band called Ringside, which signed to Interscope Records 10 years ago.
'Jimmy Iovine, the most powerful guy in the music industry, basically anointed us as the next big thing. But we got dropped because of everything going on with the internet,' he explained.
He revealed that two years ago his wife bought him pro tools and a digital recording studio to enable him to create him own album after locking himself in his pool house.
